Diver-X Announces Optical Tracking System "ContactTrack Series" – Now Available for Pre-Order on the Official Store!
We are excited to announce the launch of "ContactTrack", a hybrid optical-IMU position tracking system. The first shipments are scheduled for mid-March 2025 (between the 11th and 25th). This new product is now available for pre-order on our official store.
What is ContactTrack?
"ContactTrack" is a hybrid optical and IMU-based position tracking system designed for a wide range of applications, including full-body VR tracking, object tracking, and research & development.
Key Features
High-Precision Tracking: By combining optical tracking and IMU sensors, ContactTrack delivers more reliable and accurate full-body tracking compared to traditional IMU-based systems.
Easy Setup: With auto-calibration, the system seamlessly integrates with SteamVR-compatible devices, including Quest, Vive Tracker, and Index HMD.
Scalability: The system supports various tracker shapes and functions, with multiple models planned for future release.

Connection: A single USB 2.0 cable connects the built-in camera dongle, with up to two trackers per camera.
Battery Life:Optical & IMU Mode: 20 hours
IMU Mode Only: 60 hours
Connectivity: Equipped with a high-performance antenna for stable communication.
Other Features: Compact, lightweight, and affordable trackers reduce the burden on users.
Connectivity & Expansion
The camera system can be expanded to support up to 4 cameras.
A dongle capable of connecting up to 4 trackers will also be available for purchase.

Diver-X is committed to fostering an open tracking ecosystem by providing ContactTrack cameras and software.
This initiative aims to enable device manufacturers and independent developers to create custom ContactTrack-compatible devices.
We are actively seeking corporate partners and developers, with plans to release more details and begin distributing HDK (Hardware Development Kit) units by the end of January 2025.

What is the ContactTrack HDK (Hardware Development Kit)?
ContactTrack Chip: A compact 25mm × 12mm chip that contains all essential tracker functions. The only required external components are a battery and IR LEDs, making it easy to develop ContactTrack-compatible devices.
